Golden Apple Writing Competition is aiming to create a platform where the aspirations leading us, the teachers, to choose teaching as a career can be shared. The core of this competition is the expression of unforgettable memoirs of performing our duties as teachers, experiences which we believe help to shape the world and future generations.
Golden Apple has been organised since 2010 to celebrate the World Teachers Day, the last Friday of October. The competition have composition and poetry categories in two languages; English and Turkish (i.e. total of four categories). The submissions will be assessed by independent committees for each language and the winners will be awarded at the AUF Annual Convention in late September, early October.
Applications closed on 17 September 2014
